2015 Audi A3 vs. 2015 Audi A4 Sylvania OH & Toledo
2015 Audi A3
2015 Audi A4
Of all the vehicles in the Audi lineup, none continue to gain as much popularity as the A3 and A4, which are the most affordable models outfitted with the iconic four-ring emblem. Just because their prices fall below $35,000 does not mean that they are any less capable than some of the other Audi vehicles out there, however. Both of the vehicles are able to deliver an impressive set of capabilities, and although the pair of models are similar in a number of areas, there are a few places where they branch away from one another. To show you how the vehicles stack up against each other and to help you along in the decision of whether to get the A3 or A4, let’s take a closer look at the 2015 Audi A3 vs 2015 Audi A4. You’re also welcome to find out how the current models compare!
Same Capabilities
As the entry-level Audi models are roughly the same size, it comes as no surprise that the four-cylinder engine is able to produce the same output in both vehicles. The engine is also able to achieve the same impressive fuel economy ratings. With the turbo-four engine in place under the hood, the A3 and A4 are able to travel as far as 24 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway, which allows you to get where you need to go with less fuel. Although there are similarities, however, there are also some differences.
Larger Cabin Space?
In terms of dimensions, the A3 is a bit narrower than the A4, but when it comes to length, the vehicles are actually quite similar. Where they differ is in the distribution of cabin space. Seeing as the A3 is positioned as the smaller vehicle, space in the back seat takes a bit of a cut. The rear head- and legroom is smaller than it is in the A4, but what the A3 lacks in back, it makes up in the front. There is a bit more room for your legs and your head in the front of the A3, so if you don’t often utilize the back seat, you will likely find that the A3 is the more preferable of the two options. That is not to say that one is better than the other. Although space differs between the vehicles, there is still plenty of it in both the Audi A3 and Audi A4.
Affordability
Just before, we mentioned that the prices of the A3 and A4 are both extremely affordable. Both have starting prices below $35,000, but if you opt for the Audi A3, that price drops below $30,000. The prices doesn’t include the destination charge, but even so, you don’t have to shell out a great deal of money to own a set of keys to either of the vehicles. The affordable price is just one of the many reasons that the Audi A3 and A4 are so popular.
