2015 Audi A4

2015 BMW 2 Series
Two fierce competitors in the automotive market are the Audi A4 and the BMW 2 Series, both of which continue to gain a great deal of popularity for their ability to produce an impressive amount of power while holding onto the fuel economy ratings that many in the Toledo OH area are looking for. Both of the sports cars have their own particular advantages, which can make it difficult to decide which of the vehicles is best, but to make the decision-making process easier for you, we have decided to take a closer look at the 2015 Audi A4 vs 2015 BMW 2 Series and the benefits that each of the compact executive cars offer.
Power On the Road
Beneath the hood, both the Audi A4 and the BMW 2 Series come standard with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. As the vehicles are both compact, they don’t need anything more than four cylinders, and that is especially true as the engines in the pair of vehicles comes turbocharged, allowing them to produce more power than a naturally-aspirated, or turbo-less four-cylinder would typically be capable of producing.
When it comes to power, the A4 falls a bit short, but with a difference of just 20 horsepower between the two engines, it is difficult to say that one has a significant advantage. Both are able to provide similar levels of performance, but what really separates them is the transmission. While the BMW 2 Series comes with an eight-speed automatic, the A4 offers up a revolutionary continuously-variable gearbox that allows it to deliver an extremely smooth performance and to achieve some impressive fuel economy ratings.
More Cabin Space
One of the biggest advantages that the 2015 Audi A4 holds over the BMW 2 Series has to do with the amount of space found within the cabin. In the Audi offering, there are seats for five, and there is plenty of room for passengers to move around when the vehicle is at capacity. In 2 Series models, space is more plentiful for those sitting in the back, but that is because only two passengers are able to fit in the back. If you ever need to seat more than four passengers, the 2015 BMW 2 Series is not the best-suited option.
More Appealing
Save for the seating capacity, the A4 and the 2 Series are quite similar. As we mentioned before, both are able to produce similar power, and both direct that power to a single axle. Keep in mind, however, that both of the compact cars offer up an all-wheel drive option. Regardless of how many wheels are put into motion, the A4 is able to hold onto the performance and fuel economy ratings that make it so appealing.
