It has the ability to travel as far as 32 mpg on the highway, and although the Lexus offering isn’t too far behind with its 30 mpg highway rating, the difference of two miles-per-gallon is still quite significant. That’s especially true as the A4 directs its power to all four of its wheels while the IS 250 doesn’t engage the front wheels. Essentially what this means is that the Audi A4 is able to do more with less. It’s extremely safe in a variety of conditions, yet it is still surprisingly efficient.

Price to Match

To top it all off, the 2015 Audi A4 comes at a price that is slightly more affordable than the price of the IS 250. It comes in about $1,000 cheaper, but don’t let the lower price fool you. The IS 250 doesn’t exactly offer anything that the A4 doesn’t, and as you can get a level of luxury that is far superior to that of the IS 250 for a price that is more affordable, you really can’t lose with the Audi A4.
