Consumer Reports Names Audi Best Overall Brand

Consumer Reports is one of customers’ most trusted sources when it comes to purchasing a new vehicle. That’s why this year we are proud to let drivers in and around Toledo, OH know that Consumer Reports determined Audi to be the best overall brand of the 30 auto manufacturers surveyed.

Overall scores are determined by the road test, predicted reliability, safety, and owner satisfaction. A few popular and highly rated models are not enough to earn a manufacturer the Best Overall ranking. Jake Fisher, director of auto testing for Consumer Reports, stated, as example, “Cadillac built some great vehicles, but the reliability is not there.” Audi ranked with high scores in every category, which brought it to the top.

Subaru took second place, followed by Lexus. Only vehicles currently on sale are considered, and only brands with at least two models on the market that have sufficient test data.
