Q3 and Q5 Deliver Similar Yet Unique Set of Capabilities
Differences Between 2015 Audi Q3 and Q5
The Q3 and Q5 continue to gain a great deal of popularity, as the pair of five-passenger SUVs are both able to deliver a number of appealing capabilities that make them ideal for luxury SUV buyers. They offer up impressive performance numbers, but they are also able to provide quite a bit in the cargo storage and hauling departments. Although they both deliver appealing qualities however, they do so in different ways.
There are a number of similarities, but even more differences between the 2015 Audi Q3 and Q5, and if you have been scratching your head over the pair of SUVs, we thought it would be helpful to highlight some of the most key differences, and to hopefully make the decision-making process a bit easier for you.
As we mentioned earlier, both the Q3 and Q5 have the ability to seat as many as five passengers. What separates them is the engines that are found beneath their hoods, and the amount of space that can be found behind the second row. Both come standard with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, but the power and fuel economy ratings that they deliver do tend to stray from one another in certain areas.
If you are looking for space and power, you’ll find it in the 2015 Audi Q5, which has the ability to shell out as much as 220 horsepower. The Q3 is not far behind with its 200-horsepower rating, and what it lacks in power against the Q5, it makes up for with fuel efficiency. Both of the vehicles are able to travel 20 mpg in the city, but on the highway, the Q3 is slightly more efficient with a money-saving rating of 29 mpg.
One of the biggest differences between the 2015 models of the Audi Q3 and Q5 is price. If you can do without that slight drop in power and want to take advantage of the added fuel economy, you’ll be sure to appreciate that the Audi Q3 offers a price tag that is slightly more affordable. Owning a set of keys to the Q5 is still financially feasible, but if affordability is at the top of your list, the Audi Q5 is the one for you.
